Chapada Diamantina is a mountainous region located in the interior of Bahia, known for its lush landscapes, waterfalls, caves, trails, and unique rock formations. The Malacara race in Brazil marks the return of the Adventure Racing World Series to Brazil after six years. The race featured a range of challenges, including paddling on the Parana River, biking through muddy trails, and an abseil down a dam.
