OutThere Backpacks was founded by Mike Kloser. The Vail adventure racer is known for squeezing every ounce of life out of every single day, even before he became a world champion at a sport that requires versatility, endurance and nonstop energy. He is a 4 time Adventure Racing World Champion and has many more sporting accolades to his name.
A day in the life of Mike. Mike likes to kick off the day with a bit of exercise to get the day rolling. In the summer it’s usually a bike ride or a trail run, maybe a hike into the mountains around his home in Vail Colorado. Winter is a flip of the switch from biking to Alpine Ski Touring, or Nordic skiing on some of his favorite groomed trails up towards Piney Lake, maybe a snow packed trail run and when the snow is inviting, a good dose of skiing powder on the slopes of Vail or Beaver Creek mountains.
