Make a team and get outside as the temperatures start cooling off and the leaves start falling and changing color during our Fall Foliage Adventure Race in and around the the stunningly beautiful Harper's Ferry West Virginia where the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers converge and the 3 states of Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland meet up.
The ARWS North America category is the 13 hour race which will take more seasoned racers through a lot of adventure: more elevation, more scenery, more history, and more fun as it will consist of multiple parks, conservancies and historical sites with plenty trekking and biking, along with the first ever rafting paddle leg in the race.
Note! this is not a guided river trip (no guide in your raft), racers/teams will be using rafts as this section of river paddling may contain some Class II-III water. As is traditional with this race, the final hours of the race will be after sunset with a tiny bit of racing at night.
For those who don't want quite such a big adventure the race also offers a 5 hour course.

“I truly believe that adventure racing is the best sport ever invented and love that we can give back to our community by offering this event in Central Wisconsin,” said Tim Buchholz, co-race director of the Rib Mountain Adventure Challenge. “That we’re able to support student scholarships through the proceeds of this event is icing on the cake!”
