Race Description:

Take part in the ARWS European Championship 2025 in Finland's Lakeland. Endurance Quest Saimaa is an adventure race held in the Lake Saimaa area. Finland's largest lake offers a variety of terrains perfect for kayaking, swimming running, and coasteering.

Endurance Quest is known for its tough navigation challenges, and Endurance Quest Saimaa will be no different. Expect challenging navigational legs using super-detailed maps. Most of these legs will utilize standard IOF orienteering maps.

While there aren't any major hills, the terrain features many smaller hills with elevations ranging from 50 to 100 meters. The mountain bike (MTB) legs will take you on gravel and forest roads, with some single-track sections included.

Savonlinna, the race's host city, is a central location in Saimaa lakeland area. After the race, be sure to visit the impressive historical old castle in the town.
